A third of a million people visit Darwin Centre in its first year
The first phase of the Natural History Museum’s Darwin Centre celebrates its first anniversary this month and has welcomed over 320,000 visitors since opening.
“The response to opening up our collections, bringing our scientists into the public area and taking visitors behind the scenes has been wonderful,” said Sir Neil Chalmers, director of the Natural History Museum.
“People can at last appreciate the amazing breadth of our collections and the diversity of scientific research carried out at the museum.”
