ACL freezes leisure membership prices
Anglia Community Leisure (ACL) has pledged to freeze membership prices at the current rate for the coming financial year even though the facilities have been significantly improved.
ACL has carried out a prices review now that the refurbishment at Brandon Leisure Centre is complete and the new pool and group exercise programmes for Newmarket and Mildenhall have been agreed to launch after Easter.
Staff and trustees felt that it was important to keep the current membership prices the same so that members could enjoy the new facilities at no extra cost but they have had to agree to a slight increase to Pay and Play prices to come into effect from 1 April.
Richard Balfe, Chairman of ACL, says: "We are keen to keep prices down as much as possible so that everyone can afford to stay active. By far the best way to get value for money is to become a member and use facilities as often as possible. We have six fantastic packages to choose from to suit everyone but if people do prefer to pay and play they will find our rates are still very competitive."
