SISIS Equipment is celebrating winning an award for ‘Best New Sportsground Product’ at IOG Saltex 2004.

The company’s AER-AID System is a product for aerating turf playing surfaces and beating compaction, providing fast air injection at a rate of 88ltrs/m at 150mm spacing.

When the SISIS Javelin vertical action aerator is fitted with the new system, groundsmen and greenkeepers can give their turf a blast of fresh, clean air every time they aerate, the air injection tines alternating with the conventional solid version.

A constant working depth is ensured by a cam trigger system which always expels the air at the bottom of the tine penetration, the depth being infinitely variable to a maximum of 127mm.

AER-AID can be easily de-activated when not required and the Javelin fitted with conventional tines for other operations.
