AUS$1.8m Ayers Rock Resort spa opens
The Voyages group is to open its seventh resort spa, adjacent to the Sails in the Desert Hotel at Ayers Rock Resort in Australia.
Costing AUS$1.8m (US$1.67m, 1.12m euro, £0.84m), the Voyages Ayers Rock Resort Spa will feature four therapy rooms – two dry massage rooms and two wet rooms, offering showers and spa baths on their verandahs.
The spa has been designed to complement its surroundings, being loacted in the World Heritage-listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
Elemis will be used for core treatments while an additional range of products will be developed to reflect the park’s cultural heritage.
