Abbeycroft to work with Suffolk schools
Abbeycroft Leisure has been appointed to work with schools across south west Ipswich and south Suffolk that operate community sports facilities and help implement growth plans.
The leisure trust and social enterprise has been recruited by Suffolk County Council to offer advice and guidance to 12 schools in a bid to make their facilities more self-sustainable.
A total of 12 schools will receive support in developing consistent price frameworks; a shared direct debit collection service; and management reporting systems among others.
Abbeycroft Leisure chief executive Warren Smyth said: "We are happy to share our knowledge and experience of running successful leisure facilities with schools in Suffolk."
