Absolute to open hotel and spa in Laos
Management Company Absolute Hotel Services is set to operate a spa hotel in Luang Prabeng, Laos.
Due to open in 2014, the hotel will be operated under Absolute’s U-brand and is located on a peninsula of the Mekong River. U Luang Prabeng will be marketed as a boutique property and will feature 50 guestrooms.
Exact details of the facilities are to be confirmed but the resort will house a spa and fitness centre.
Other facilities will include restaurants, a swimming pool, a library and a river terrace.
Jonathan Wigley, CEO of Absolute Hotel Services Group said: "We are delighted to announce our first U property in Laos and especially located in the iconic town of Luang Prabang, a UNESCO site."
