Absolute to revamp York’s Barbican
Operator Absolute Leisure is set to revamp the Barbican Centre in York.
The group has submitted amended plans to City of York Council and, if successful, expects to start work on site in February, with completion by September.
The proposals include revamping the existing auditorium for conferencing and banqueting and constructing new bars and restaurants as well as two enclosed roof gardens for general use.
