Accor opens new Hanoi property
Hotel operator Accor has announced the opening of the Mercure Hanoi La Gare in Hanoi, Vietnam, which is the city's first new internationally-branded 4-star hotel to open for more than ten years.
Offering 102 rooms, a French brasserie, an internal courtyard and a fitness centre, the hotel is on Ly Thuong Kiet Street, opposite the main railway station and close to the Old Quarter precinct. Tourist attractions such the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu), Hoan Kiem lake and the Hanoi Opera House are within reach. Elsewhere in Vietnam, the Mercure Hue Gerbera in the UNESCO heritage city of Hue is scheduled to open in October.
Accor is the largest international hotel group operating in Vietnam, with properties in Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Hue, Dalat, Phan Thiet and on Phu Quoc island.
