Acorn House launches second restaurant
Acorn House is launching its second urban green restaurant in Hoxton, east London, at the end of November.
The new Water House Restaurant will operate on the same principles as the existing site in Kings Cross, which features an eco-friendly chef training facility aimed at the local community and menus sourced from small independent suppliers.
Additional environmental practices include the use of recycled and organic materials in its construction; water purification on site to minimise plastic and glass usage; ‘green electricity’ and biodegradable product use where possible as well as the recycling of all kitchen waste.
