Active IQ expands into Hungary
Awarding body Active IQ has expanded its reach by approving its first training centre in Eastern Europe.
The International Wellness Institute (IWI) in Budapest, Hungary will now deliver Active IQ's range of qualifications, including the NASM(r) Certificate in Personal Training.
The Active IQ qualifications have been mapped to the recently approved European Health and Fitness Association (EHFA) standards.
Active IQ's Executive Director Suzy Toseland-Goakes said: "We're hoping that this partnership will help propel our international expansion.
"We've invested considerable resource to ensure we establish a relationship with the right partner."
Established in 2000, the IWI Education Centre has had a prominent role in the Hungarian health, fitness and wellness market and aims to raise the standard of health and fitness education across central and Eastern Europe.
