Activio onboard with Royal Caribbean Cruises
Swedish fitness company Activio is to have its Fitness System installed on board Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's largest ship, Oasis of the Seas.
The system will be part of the ship's Spa and Fitness area, one of seven 'neighbourhoods' on offer aboard the cruiser, which is capable of holding 5,400 passengers.
Daniel Magnergård, CEO of Activio AB says: "Large screens in the fitness area will present participants' heart rate live to make workouts more motivating, exciting and interactive and the solution will track progress".
Oasis of the Seas will sail from 12 December 2009 from Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and will embark on seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruise itineraries.
Activio optimizes exercise performance of club members. We provide tools to educate and motivate all club members throughout the club instructors and the personal trainers.
Our systems and tools, help instructors and clubs to significantly improve the exercise performance of members and maximize health & fitness results, which contributes to increased attendance and member retention.
