Al-Baik launches smoking ban
Al-Baik, one of Saudi Arabia’s biggest fast-food chains, has become the first in the kingdom to introduce a smoking ban.
Al-Baik’s chief executive officer, Rami Abu Ghazaleh, told Arab News that the decision was made due to “popular demand and in the interest of the wellbeing of our visitors and staff.”
The ban was implemented to coincide with World No Smoking Day on 10 June and the campaign was launched with a World Cup-related theme using the slogan “A new goal for a better life”.
