Alesha Dixon to launch new LA Fitness classes
Reality show starlet Alesha Dixon is to officially launch LA Fitness's new programme of small group exercise classes next week.
Dixon, who revived her career after winning the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing show in 2007, has become the face of LA Fitness after signing a marketing deal with the company in December 2009.
As part of the contract, Dixon was given the title of creative director at LA Fitness and since then the company has launched a programme of dance classes bearing her name. Dixon also makes regular appearances at LA Fitness launch events.
The new Accelerator and Fight Fit classes, launching on 9 March, will be run as small group training sessions and will target those with less time to spend at the gym. They will marketed as "fast track" exercises which "get results quicker".
