Alila Cha-Am opens on Gulf of Thailand
Alila Hotels and Resorts group has launched its debut, beachside resort in Cha-Am, on the north west coast of the Gulf of Thailand.
Marketed as a boutique resort, Alila Cha-Am’s wellness facilities include a Spa Alila with five treatment rooms and speciality Thai massage suites surrounding a mineral thermal swimming pool.
Designed by Thailand-based architect Duangrit Bunnag, Alila Cha-Am also boasts a rooftop reflecting pool as well as a Red Bar – a wellness zone by day that transforms into a bar at night.
Other attractions within the development include a wide range of Alila Experience packages for guests, such as Cultural Learning, alongside a number of sporting activities such as golf and rafting plus restaurants and bars.
Next to open in early 2008 will be the Alila Villas Hadahaa and Alila Villas Lonudhua, both in the Maldives.
