A preferred developer has been agreed upon for planned improvements to a grade II listed building in London's Gunnersbury Park in Ealing.

Hounslow Council's cabinet joined Ealing Council, which jointly manages the park, and agreed educational provider Alpha Plus Group would restore the park’s small mansion to increase community access and ensure its long-term sustainability.

Alpha Plus will now enter into detailed discussions and negotiations with the two councils to bring it into use as a school and community facility.

It will contribute capital investment to restore the building and will meet ongoing maintenance costs.
