Ambassador Theatre Group plans £30m growth
London's Ambassador Theatre Group – which owns the Donmar Warehouse, Albery and Duke of York theatres – has reportedly appointed a financial advisor to secure £30m for expansion.
According to The Times newspaper, the theatre group plans to expand its empire by around 50 per cent, adding up to 10 theatres to its portfolio, and is potentially buying a package of properties from Andrew Lloyd Webber?s Really Useful Group, which is currently being prepared for sale.
The Ambassador Group currently owns 23 theatres in England and Scotland and a six-screen multiplex cinema.
