Anantara at Bilila Lodge opens
The first Anantara Spa in the African bush has opened at the Bilila Lodge Kempinski in Tanzania.
Situated in the heart of the Serengeti National Park, the 10,764sq ft (1,000sq m) spa's design - by South African architect FD Theron and interior designer Jacket Interior - incorporates wood, tiles and thatched elements.
Anantara's own-brand products are used, as well as ayurvedic products imported from India. There are also Anantara spas on the island of Zanzibar and in Tanzania's capital, Dar Es Salaam. Details: anantara.com
