Anheuser-Busch says thanks to the troops
American brewer and adventure park operator, Anheuser-Busch, has taken a full-page advertisement in the UK press to alert readers to its Operation Salute.
The initiative is the company's way of saying thank you to members of the US forces who took part in Operation Iraqi Freedom. All active duty military, active reservists, US Coastguard, National Guardsmen and up to four of their direct dependents, can have free single-day admission to certain of the company's attractions.
The venues include SeaWorld in Orlando, San Antonio and San Diego; Busch Gardens in Williamsburg and Tampa Bay and Sesame Place in Philadelphia. The scheme has now been extended to any member of the British Army, Royal Navy or Royal Air Force and up to four family members. Admission can be gained on presentation of valid military identification.
The offer is valid from 23 May to 11 November. Anheuser-Busch has run similar offers for the US armed forces in the past, following both the first Gulf War and during a post-9/11 recognition of all branches of the US military. Details: www.anheuser-busch.com
