Another fire at Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Fire crews tackled a blaze at the Bean Street Food Court within Blackpool Pleasure Beach earlier today.
No-one was injured but it is believed that several buildings have been damaged during the blaze that reportedly lasted around three hours.
As the fire happened very early this morning – 12.45am – the amusement park was closed to the public at the time.
A full investigation will take place but Blackpool Pleasure Beach opened for business as usual this morning.
This is the second fire to occur at Blackpool Pleasure Beach this year. On 20 May, a fire broke out damaging the Grand National wooden rollercoaster. Two other rides – Alice in Wonderland and Trauma Towers were also affected by the blaze. The park was also closed to the public at the time of the blaze. Details: www.bpbltd.com
