Anytime Fitness has opened a gym in Sydney Airport to support the 40 million travellers passing through each year and the 30,000-strong airport workforce.

The 24/7 club is 300 square metres over two floors and offers functional training zones for mobility and recovery, Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment, two lifting platforms and premium showers.

Anytime Fitness has created three Fit to Fly workouts: the pre‑flight routine boosts circulation and prepares the body for long periods of sitting without causing fatigue.

The post‑flight session restores mobility, activates key muscle groups and resets the body after landing.

The third workout includes simple seat‑based movements and offers quick ways to stay mobile mid‑air when tightness or slow circulation starts to set in.

Simon Thompson, Anytime Fitness Australia managing director, says: “The launch of our club in Sydney Airport reflects our strategic commitment to delivering accessible fitness solutions wherever our members live, work and travel.

“This initiative represents a significant milestone for our brand and the broader fitness industry, setting a new benchmark for convenience-led fitness.”

Owned by Purpose Brands, Anytime Fitness is Australia’s largest gym network, with more than 600 clubs  supporting over 750,000 members nationwide.
