App launched for Scottish tourism
Historic Scotland, the National Trust for Scotland and VisitScotland have teamed up to launch a free Days Out iPhone app.
The app aims to capitalise on the Scottish staycation trend and is part of VisitScotland's latest Winter White campaign which targets the domestic markets - including the Scots themselves.
The app offers an 'Inspire Me' button to attract locals, allowing them to type in their location and for the app to spit out ideas for things to visit in the locality.
