Arch Amenities Group (AAG)* has branched into Canada with the acquisition of Personal Best Health and Performance, a Canadian leader in corporate wellness services.

Personal Best, based in Palgrave, Ontario, provides consultative and management services designed to maximise the benefit of employee fitness and lifestyle programmes.

The company specifies fitness equipment and layouts for building architects and designers and offers guidance on day-to-day operations, staffing, policies, procedures, budgeting, safety and liability issues.

"This strategic expansion into the vibrant and dynamic markets within Canada, especially Toronto, marks a significant milestone in our global expansion and reinforces our dedication to providing innovative amenity management solutions," said Barry Goldstein, AAG chief executive officer.

Reflecting on the first two years in business

It’s been a busy first two years for AAG and the company shows no signs of slowing down after its European branch recently announced a strategic collaboration with premium Spanish skincare brand Natura Bissé

AAG says the new deal was secured to “capitalise on the well-established reputation of the Natura Bissé brand in the EU and beyond and AAG’s proven experience consulting for, managing and operating preeminent luxury wellness centres and spas across the globe”.

Earlier this year, AAG also announced the launch of its proprietary survey and salary benchmarking tool, Wage Insights.

The group started with strong momentum in 2022 with five purposeful acquisitions: Hutchinson Consulting; NYS Pool Managament; Innovative Spa Management, Priva and Spa Space.

*About AAGAAG, based in Rockville, Maryland, was formed in in 2022 following the amalgamation of spa and wellness consultancy and management company WTS International, corporate fitness and amenity solution provider LifeStart and Meet Hospitality – a hospitality services and hosted meetings company.

The company is a global provider of hospitality management and consulting services for commercial and residential properties, hotels, spas, private clubs and recreational spaces.

AAG provides preopening and sustaining strategy and support for wellness and amenity spaces in the US and across the globe.

The organisation is a portfolio company of private equity firm CI Capital Partners.
