Arena Group faces HMRC winding up petition
Arena Group, the operator of Planet Ice-branded ice rinks across the UK, is to face winding up proceedings over unpaid tax at London's Royal Courts of Justice on 6 February.
It is also believed that a number of its venues - including facilities in Cardiff; Isle of Wight; and Peterborough - are facing separate petitions from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
A statement attributed to the Arena Group board said: "This action has no effect or impact on either the Planet Ice brand or its day to day operation."
