Arena appoints Elliott as Penrose heads to Sportech
Former Wembley boss Mark Elliott has been appointed as the new chief executive of Arena Leisure.
Elliott recently oversaw the liquidation of gaming group Wembley which saw shareholders receive around £300m.
He replaces Ian Penrose, who resigned from the post to become the chief executive of gaming operator Sportech.
Penrose will continue to play a consultancy role for Arena Leisure until March 2006.
