Art deco timeshare accommodation for Butlins
Butlins Resort Minehead in Exmoor has launched a new timeshare scheme called BlueSkies by Butlins.
A new four-storey building designed according to art deco style will provide units for rental on a timeshare basis.
John Clarke, director of architects Holder Mathias, said: “We have chosen a style of architecture alluding to the great days of the 1920s and 1930s when ‘seaside’ architecture was at its peak.
The building work has been carefully planned so that it does not disrupt the operation of the resort, which will remain open throughout the development.”
Timeshare guests will receive VIP treatment featuring a concierge service and dedicated support team as well as free wireless internet access and DVD rental.
Butlins has also teamed up with timeshare exchange organization RCI so that guests can swap their Minehead timeshare with similar developments worldwide.
Work on site will start this month, with completion set for March 2007. Details: www.blueskiesbybutlins.com
