UK-born functional fitness competition, Athx Games is entering a new chapter with a landmark four-year global partnership with Adidas.

Throughout the season, Adidas performance footwear and apparel will hit the competition floor. With a global partner powering its growth, Athx will grow to more locations, more athletes – moving from a UK challenger an international fitness phenomenon

Alongside the alliance, Athx has evolved its competition structure for 2026, built around the three pillars of strength, endurance and metabolic conditioning. Year on year the workouts of the competition evolve, which leads to an all-round growth in athleticism.

The 2026 workouts introduce new movement standards and progressive formats designed by co-founder and internationally recognised functional fitness coach and athlete, Ollie Marchon.

Marchon says: “Athx has always been built for all athletes and 2026 proves it. From the first timer to the accomplished competitor, the new workouts are a true test of fitness at every level. The tests are designed to challenge real-world strength, endurance and skill without the unnecessary complexity seen in other competitions.

“Our programming reinforces Athx’s core belief that fitness should be accessible and credible for all. At every event we reward good movement, smart pacing and above all else, we celebrate effort. Whether participants are stepping onto the competition floor for their debut or returning to defend a podium, Athx 2026 celebrates the full spectrum of athletic ability.”

The 2026 season has been revealed in full, featuring four UK events in London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Liverpool. It will expand from two European events to more than 11 across key markets including Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and the Nordics.

The foundations will also be laid for further international growth, with strategic entry plans confirmed for the US and across the Middle East and APAC regions.
