Audio tour for Loch Ness
Jacobite Cruises and Inverness-based Zolk C have completed testing and approved the prototype of a new handheld audio system to be used on Loch Ness boat tours.
The guides will allow visitors to hear about attractions such as Urquhart Castle, The Wellington Bomber and The Great Glen in real time.
Steve Bone, from Zolk C, said: "The new audio systems will use a GPS tracking systems so tourists can individually enjoy hearing all about the key focal points of Loch Ness in real time, rather than everyone listening to one recording on the boat."
There are also plans to provide the information in different languages, including Spanish, German and French.
