Auriga spa brand debuts in Austria
Capella Hotels and Resorts has launched its first Auriga spa at the Capella Schloss Velden Hotel in southern Austria.
Designed by Peter Silling of Germany’s Hotel Interior Design, Auriga covers 37,674sq ft (3,500sq m) and is situated in the chateau hotel on Lake Woerth.
The spa includes 14 treatment rooms, a couples’ suite with a double bath and steam shower, and a swimming pool.
There is also a snow cabin facility, a relaxation room, a fully equipped fitness centre and a wet area with a vitality pool, ice bowls, a steamroom and showers.
Auriga spa’s four signature treatments have been designed with The Organic Pharmacy to reflect the varying energies of the lunar cycle. Each therapy is dedicated to a particular phase of the moon – New, Full, Waxing and Waning – and will only be offered when the moon is in that particular phase.
Raison d’Etre were employed as consultants during the development process of the new spa, and ESPA products will also be used in spa treatments.
Capella plans to have four further Auriga spas open by the end of this year.
