Marriott International's Autograph Collection has added the Brown Palace Hotel and Spa in Denver, US, to its portfolio of independently-owned and operated properties worldwide.
It is the 35th hotel to sign up to the collection and is operated by Quorum Hotels and Resorts - a management company which has been involved with the property for 25 years.
The 5,000sq ft (465sq m) Spa at The Brown Palace houses six treatment rooms - including a separate manicure/ pedicure room, a hair salon and a couples' VIP suite.
Custom treatments have been specially designed for the Colorado climate and lifestyle, with special soaks also on offer - drawing from an artesian well 750ft (229m) below the hotel.
Quorum chair/CEO and principal Tony Farris said: "Being a part of Autograph Collection provides a great opportunity for The Brown Palace to maintain our unique identity and share our history."
Noah Silverman, chief development officer, North America full service hotels for Marriott International, added: "This landmark is a tremendous addition for Autograph Collection."
