Ayurveda spa retreats planned for South Africa
Two new ayurvedic retreats are being planned for South Africa.
Opening in Durban on 18 March, the first SanAquam facility has been designed as an urban day sanctuary, with two resident doctors, diagnostic facilities and an authentic range of ayurvedic treatments.
The second SanAquam retreat will open in 2009 as part of a 700-hectare resort development in the World Heritage site of Drakensberg. The spa director for both retreats is Dr Geraldine Mitton.
