BDRC announces winners of British Hotel Guest Survey
Business Development Research Consultants (BDRC) have announced the best performing hotel brands in Britain.
Based on the results of BDRC’s 27th British Hotel Guest Survey, Premier Inn was named as Most Improved Overall Brand.
Jurys Inn and Ibis were named joint Most Improved Business Brand. Barcelo just missed out on the Most Improved Brand award. Special mentions also went to Mercure, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express.
Tim Sander, research director at BDRC, said: “Congratulations to Premier Inn for improving their brand position partly as a result of their very successful advertising campaign from the beginning of the year.
“We were eagerly anticipating these results, which have met our expectations that the budget hotel sector is starting to benefit from today’s tougher economic environment as companies cut their travel expenses.”
