BHA Patron Supplier announces age discrimination workshop
BHA patron supplier Bevan Brittan is hosting a workshop for BHA members to explain how the new law on age discrimination will affect hospitality businesses.
Entitled Young, dynamic manager required – Ageism and the Workplace, the workshop will run at Bevan Brittan’s London offices on Tuesday, 26 September.
Designed as an introduction to the Employment Equality (Age) Regulations due in October 2006, the half-day session aims to give members an overview of the impending legislation, the impact upon their current practices, and practical tools to avoid potential pitfalls and claims.
Speakers will include Jodie Sinclair, associate at Bevan Brittan LLP and Mugni Islam-Choudhury, associate and barrister at Bevan Brittan LLP.
Registration will be held at 9.30am, with the seminar due to take place from 9.45am-12.30pm, followed by lunch.
Tickets cost £25 + vat for BHA members. Non-member tickets are also available at £40 + vat. (Spaces are limited and early booking is recommended.)
