BHA members among New Years Honours recipients
Michael Guthrie, chairman of the British Hospitality Association’s (BHA) Motorway Service Area Operators Committee was one of the several BHA members named in the 2007 New Years Honours List.
Mr Guthrie received an OBE for services to charity.
Jasminder Singh, founder of member Radisson Edwardian Hotels and Simon Loftus, former chairman of member Adnams received OBEs for services to the hotel industry, and for services to business respectively.
Other recipients included Angela Hartnett, executive chef at member The Connaught Hotel, and Albert Hampson, former business manager, AA Hotel Services. Both received MBEs for services to hospitality.
