The BHA is currently looking for members to fill a number of vacancies on its regional committees.

The BHA has eight regional committees, which play a valuable role in the policy making of the association, and every autumn, a third of the members of our regional committees retire by rotation.

Regional meetings are held three times per year – spring, summer and autumn – and bring together a cross-section of group and independent members.

The eight committees are: BHA Scotland, BHA Wales, the South Eastern Regional Committee, the South Western Regional Committee, the Eastern Regional Committee, the Heart of England Regional Committee, BHA London and the Northern Regional Committee.

A wide variety of issues are debated at committee meetings including regional marketing (with input from the regional and national Tourist Boards and the Regional Development Agencies); employment law; and the skills agenda.
