BISL conference to look at Olympics, licensing, casinos and televised sport
Business in Sport and Leisure (BISL) is set to host its annual conference at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on 30 November.
The conference, entitled A New Past, will look at ensuring the legacy of the 2012 Olympic Games, what has been achieved in the year since the new Licensing Act was introduced, the impact of televised sport on the sports sector, and the future of the casino industry in the UK.
Speakers will include Shaun Woodward, minister for creative industries and tourism; Geof Collyer, Deutsche Bank managing director of Pan European research; Roger Mosey, director of BBC Sport and Neil Goulden, chief executive of Gala Coral Group.
A keynote address will also be made by Martin Robinson, chair of Center Parcs and Holmes Place and a Euro Disney board member.
