The British Olympic Association (BOA) has announced that Games Services Manager Louise Whitehead and Sport Engagement Manager Mahdi Choudhury will serve as Deputy chefs de mission for team GB at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

Both Choudhury and Whitehead, working under Team GB Chef de Mission, Mike Hay, will play a key role in the development, implementation and delivery of the services and support provided by the BOA for Team GB at the Winter Games.

Choudhury most recently worked during the 2012 Olympics as sport engagement manager, acting as a key point of contact for team leaders in the build up to and during the 2012 London Olympics.

Whitehead has worked over five Olympic games and at the 2012 Olympics, she held the position of Team GB operations and villages manager, overseeing all 24 Team GB accommodation sites.
