BOA signs deal with Canadian counterparts
The British Olympic Association (BOA) has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC).
It is hoped the deal will highlight areas of mutual co-operation and strategic partnership in the lead up to the 2012 London Games and the 2014 Sochi Winter Games in Russia. BOA chair Colin Moynihan said: "[The] MoU signing reflects our shared commitment to the enhancing of the global Olympic Movement.
"Through the signing of this MoU, we will have the opportunity to share in [COC's] knowledge and learn from their experience in the role of host National Olympic Committee."
