BTA promotes renowned royal attractions
The British Tourist Authority (BTA) has launched a new promotional map entitled Britain's Royal Heritage, which publicises more than 50 attractions around the UK with royal connections.
Endorsed by HRH the Prince of Wales, Britain's Royal Heritage is divided into ten themes including royal residences, royal landscapes and pomp and ceremony. The fold-out map pinpoints all 50 royal heritage locations and details how they help make Britain unique.
'Britain's royal heritage consistently ranks among the top three reasons why our overseas visitors choose to come here,' said the BTA's head of campaigns, Jeremy Brinkworth. 'With the special events and celebrations planned for the Golden Jubilee in 2002, there's no better time to explore Britain's unique royal lineage.'
