First Maldivian Baglioni resort will include Jungle Spa
Italian hotel brand Baglioni will open its first resort in the Maldives in 2017, complete with a Jungle spa with outdoor pavilions.
Located on the island of Maagau in the Dhaalu Atoll, the Baglioni Resort Maldives will include 96 villas – including 43 over-water – as well as three restaurants and a pool bar. A two-storey, three-bedroom over-water Presidential Villa will include an oversized plunge pool with whirlpool.
The Jungle Spa will feature four single and two double outdoor wooden pavilions surrounded by tropical foliage. The spa menu will include ayurvedic and Thai therapies designed to enrich and detoxify, along with treatments to purify and repair skin and hair from sun and sea damage.
A yoga pavilion will also provide a place for meditation sessions, and there will be an on-site gym.
