Bank of Scotland great Scottish run
The half-marathon, with a 10km run and junior route running alongside, has been hailed as one of Scotland's largest mass participation sporting events, with great personal best-breaking potential.
Taking place between 4 and 5 September, the 2010 routes have yet to be confirmed, but the setting is Glasgow, Scotland's largest city, home to architecture by Rennie Mackintosh and nearby Loch Lomond. Details: www.runglasgow.org
