Bannatyne Fitness is broadening its Just Fitness brand of health clubs with the development of a third site in Mansfield.

The club, on schedule to open next month, is part of the group's second Bannatyne Hotel and Health Club, following its first hotel in Darlington.

The Just Fitness club at the 15-bed property covers 8,000sq ft and follows the brand's concept of targeting the total fitness market, concentrating on fitness rather than leisure. Just Fitness was launched in Dundee in February followed by a second in Coulby Newham which opened this month.

Chair, Duncan Bannatyne, says the Just Fitness concept allows the company to cater for a broader market: Just Fitness is quite a new market for us and one which allows Bannatyne Fitness to cater for the entire spectrum of health club members. A fourth Just Fitness club is set to open in Colchester, Essex in January next year.
