Banyan Tree opens Vietnam's Laguna Lang Co resort
Banyan Tree Resorts has opened the Laguna Lang Co, an integrated five-star spa and golf resort in Vietnam.
Located on a 280-hectare beachfront site between Hue and Danang, the complex comprises a golf course, two luxury hotels – a Banyan Tree and an Angsana-branded property – two spas, restaurants and water activities.
The Banyan Tree Lang Co hotel and spa is an all pool-villa resort that comprises 32 lagoon pool villas and 17-beach pool villas.
Banyan Tree Spa offers Asian-inspired therapies in standard, deluxe and royal treatment rooms. The beauty and wellness treatments contain aromatic oils, healing herbs and spices as well as organic botanicals.
One of the signature therapies is the 150-minute Royal Banyan Herbal Pouch Therapy, which includes a lemongrass cucumber body scrub, a royal Banyan Herbal pouch therapy, a jade face therapy and a therapeutic herbal bath. Other treatments on offer include a range of body wraps, scrubs and massages.
Facilities include a Nick Faldo-designed golf course, a health club and a watersports centre.
There is also a range of dining options including Azura; a beachfront restaurant serving Italian food and seafood while The Watercourt restaurant serves French cuisine with hints of Vietnamese influence.
Angsana Lang Co hotel and spa also opened at the resort and has 229 suites, 100 of which have a private swimming pool.
The spa has 10 treatment rooms as well as two rain-mist rooms. Treatments use local natural ingredients such as rice, milk and oils.
Dining options include The Marketplace, with a selection of international and local dishes; Moomba, a beachfront restaurant that serves tapas and the Rice Bowl which as well as food has an extensive menu of rice based drinks.
Other facilities available are a watersports centre, 300m resort pool and conference space.
