Barenbrug re-turfs Chester Zoo grounds
Barenbrug has re-turfed 16,145sq ft (1,500sq m) of Chester Zoo in the UK using its Lindum RTF Turf product.
An underground stem, or rhizomatous, species of turf, the Lindum RTF Turf has deep rooting capabilities down to a distance of up to 4.92ft (1.5m) underground, giving it a high level of tolerance to both waterlogging and drought.
Following the installation, Chester Zoo has made a further order of another 10,763sq ft (1,000sq m) of the RTF, which will cover a restaurant outdoor seating area amongst others.
