Barnsley seeks chair and trustees
Barnsley Premier Leisure is holding two open days this month to recruit a chair of the board and new trustees.
The evenings, on 24 and 28 November, will offer potential candidates an idea of the duties and commitment involved.
The trust was set up in 1999 and currently manages 10 facilities in the Barnsley Borough.
The role of the trustees is to give the organisation strategic direction, define goals and evaluate performance.
Barnsley Premier Leisure's acting chief executive, Mark Crutchley, said: "This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to get involved in a big way with the borough's sport and active recreation strategy.
"Our objective has, and always will be, to use sport, leisure and recreational activities to improve the health and quality of life for people of the region.” Details: +44 (0)1226 297240
