Barr + Wray aqua-leisure provider to install new spa facilities in Bali
Scotland-based Barr + Wray is to supply and install new spa facilities at the recently extended Westin Nusa Dua Hotel on the Indonesian island of Bali.
Visitors to the spa will be able to enjoy separate male and female wet spa areas, which will both feature salt saunas, steam baths, VIP steam showers and vitality pools including relaxing massage features and wet wall features.
A UV filtration system has been installed as part of the £335,000 contract, which is designed to keep the pool clean, improve the quality of the water and reduce the facility’s carbon footprint.
Work on the new spa installation is set for completion in September.
Barr + Wray has also won three other pool and spa design contracts in Bali including the design of an outdoor hydropool experience at The Laguna Nusa Dua.
The company is also designing an underground wet spa facility for The Legian Hotel in Seminyak, featuring hot and cold plunge pools, a sauna, steam room and hammam.
Offices also in Aberdeen, London, Dubai and Hong Kong.
