Bell takes over reigns at Dollywood
Ken Bell has been appointed president of the Dollywood Company.
Bell joined the company in 1985 – then called Silver Dollar City Tennessee – and under his guidance, the park expanded from a small, little-known attraction to a nationally ranked theme park called Dollywood.
Bell worked closely with Dolly Parton to establish the Dollywood brand and has guided the park since its inception. In 2001, with the opening of the water park, Bell became senior vice president of The Dollywood Company.
