Bellagio brings Monet’s water lilies to life
The Bellagio Conservatory, part of the famous Las Vegas Strip Bellagio hotel and casino, has brought Monet’s painting, Water Lily Pond, to life in its springtime display.
Working closely with the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art to honour the Claude Monet: The Masterworks exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the conservatory has recreated the painting using a variety of water lilies, iris and ferns.
The Bellagio’s horticultural staff has also concentrated on use of lighting to make the setting as authentic as possible.
