Blackpool Council signs Alliance deal
Blackpool Council has partnered with Alliance Leisure in a three-year deal to boost the success of its two leisure centres.
Staff at Blackpool Sports Centre and Palatine Leisure Centre will undertake Alliance Leisure’s REPs-accredited professional sales process training course, with the aim of increasing direct debit memberships.
John Hawkin, head of leisure at Blackpool Council, said: “We realise the potential of both leisure centres, but simply don’t have the internal resources to take advantage of it.
“Alliance Leisure’s support will allow us to grow our fitness income and support our plans to extend the health and fitness offer across Blackpool.”
Alliance Leisure is part of the PTE group of companies, which includes Physique, Physique Sport and ZigZag.
