Board of directors boosted at Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Three new directors have been appointed to the board at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
Managing director Amanda Thompson, has appointed Jim Rowland as group operations director, Mike Brown as group commercial director and Robert Owen as marketing director.
All three are existing members of the Blackpool Pleasure Beach management team and their new appointments will come into effect for the 2005 season.
“These three individuals are each experts in their own fields and I am delighted that they are to form an integral part of the team which is now focusing on the continued development of the company,” said Thompson.
Thompson’s father, Geoffrey Thompson OBE DL, the previous managing director of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, died earlier this year aged 67 after an 18 year tenure.
The Pleasure Beach attracts 6.2 million visitors each year. Details: www.bpbltd.com
