There are just a few tickets left for the 2009 National Restaurateur's Dinner (NRD) which takes place on Thursday 16 July and will be held in the sumptuous surroundings of The Park Lane Hotel, Piccadilly, London.

The National Restaurateur's Dinner is the premier annual fundraising event supporting not one, not two, but three of the main organisations in the hospitality industry: the Academy of Culinary Arts, the Academy of Food & Wine and the Restaurant Association.

In a bid to acknowledge the current economic situation the ticket price for the dinner has been reduced to £125 plus VAT. A table of 10 is £1,200 plus VAT.

For this you receive a champagne reception and a delicious four-course meal cooked by some of the industry's top chefs including Angela Hartnett, Jason Atherton, Rob Kirby (Lexington), Anthony Marshall (Hilton) Martyn Nail (Claridges), Andrew Bennett (Park Lane) and Graham Hornigiold (Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park); wines matched to every course by top sommeliers in the UK Guild of Wine Service including Matt Wilkin, Xavier Rousset and Claire Thevenot; entertainment and the opportunity to win several wonderful prizes.

This dinner is the main fundraising event for the three organisations and all proceeds go back into the industry via education and training initiatives.

The dinner allows you to witness first hand the recipients of some of their initiatives as the winners of the UK Sommelier of the Year 2008, Young Chef, Young Waiter 2008 and the Annual Awards of Excellence 2008 will all be in attendance, cooking or serving our guests.
